The Process

This precious little girl came into the nursery as a "Ryan" kit by Natalie Scholl. 

Re-Born: March 9, 2011 

Time: 2:25pm

Weighing approx. 2lbs. 8oz.

Measuring 18 inches long

 The vinyl is colored on outside to give little Ryanne the most realistic newborn "blotchy" tone complexion. This natural shade of coloring was created with Genesis heat set paints that I’ve applied over multiple steps to achieve the true to life look.  Each baby is carefully hand painted until I have achieved the desired results for that individual baby.

                   She has light brown micro rooted eyelashes and her lips were color blended to a natural tone.  I also applied tiny "barely there" little brush stroke eyebrows. Additionally, her little nose was carefully opened.

Ryanne has a soft filled & weighted doe suede jointed body. She has that realistic baby feel that’s just right for holding.

 Her little head needs supporting just like a real baby's head when you hold her.  She can be posed and displayed in a variety of positions.

She has been given hand painted fingers and toenails that have been sealed with a satin sealer to highlight the details of her tiny hands and feet.

Ryanne has micro-rooted baby soft light brown mohair.  Each little strand was rooted in the direction that her hair would naturally grow.  Her hair was trimmed and shaped to appear as realistic as a newborn baby's hair does.

She has subtle veining throughout her hands/arms, legs/feet, forehead, & even on her little eyelids.

                      Ryanne is no longer considered a play doll, but a ”One of a Kind" "CPBN" baby /collectible doll to be handed down from generation to generation. I have signed and dated her with her birth date on the back of her neck.

 Ryanne will leave the nursery with all brand new items;

-a diaper

-a plush pink bunny

-a  preemie sleeveless striped onesie

-a hospital bracelet with her name and birthdate

-a "Funny Bunny" pink sleep sack/ gown

-a matching 3 piece set which includes: hat with dainty pink flowers, matching pants & onesie

-a matching pink cardigan with pink and white check trim and matching pants

-pink booties

-a pink headband

- a pink receiving blanket with pink and white check binding

 -a "Cream Puff Babies" birth certificate
